Hello and welcome back to the new school year. I am Gina Duprey and will be your son's/daughter's speech language specialist this school year at Roosevelt Elementary School.
The first few weeks of school, I will be observing your son/daughter, collecting baseline data, and building rapport with the students. By completing these tasks, I will be able to appropriately assess your child's progress in speech throughout the year, formulate groups for speech therapy, determine activities/homework for the students to complete and build relationships with your child so they will feel comfortable during their speech session.
I will be providing your son/daughter with a speech folder that will contain activities I deem appropriate to complete throughout the school year. These activities will assist your child in implementing "good speech skills" at home with you. It is important that these activities are completed and returned by the time of your child's following speech session.
I am very excited to begin this journey with you for the new school year. If you have any questions or concerns, the best way to contact me is via email [email protected]. You can also call Roosevelt Elementary School's main office number at 201-261-1546 and leave a message.
Warm Regards,
Gina Forte Duprey M.S. CCC-SLP
